Thursday 4th April 9:30-12:30pm with morning tea $65
Kids 7+ and their grown ups (kids under 7 may attend if an adult accompanies them)
Calling all fruit lovers! Join specialist art teacher, Kasia Janczewski from The Make Mistakes School of Art these Easter holidays for the Tutti Frutti workshop at Where the Wild Things Are Bookshop, West End. Inspired by the luscious and vibrant illustrations of Alice Oehr’s books Off to Market and and Artichoke to Zucchini, Kasia will guide artists to engage their curiosity and senses by exploring the texture, smell, colours and flavour of a variety of fruit to create a series of mixed media artworks.
Kids can participate independently or with a grown-up, and make art side-by-side to rediscover the joy of learning through ‘making mistakes’, create nature inspired forms, experiment with media and express their imaginations. Everyone will leave with two artworks, a tummy full of morning tea and their heart brimming with creativity!
