Join Brooke Graham and Robin Tatlow-Lord to launch Nova's Missing Masterpiece. There will be a Q & A, storytelling, craft and cupcakes!
Nova’s Missing Masterpiece highlights a girl’s bond with her dog to address the themes of anger, self-regulation, problem solving, resilience and persistence.
Brooke Graham is a children’s author and primary school teacher. She writes heartfelt picture books that promote good mental health. Her debut picture book, Go Away, Worry Monster!, published by EK Books and illustrated by Robin Tatlow-Lord was shortlisted for the 2021 CBCA New Illustrator award. Brooke and Robin have teamed up again to create Nova’s Missing Masterpiece, also published by EK Books.
Brooke is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) and Write Links. She lives on the outskirts of Ipswich with her teenage daughter and three dogs in a cute cottage that is surrounded by bushland. Brooke loves to spend time with family and friends, read and go on long walks with her dog, Naava.
Robin Tatlow-Lord is an illustrator, writer and cartoonist living in Adelaide, on Kaurna land. Working with pencils, watercolor, ink, collage and digital techniques, Robin has a great love of character and storytelling. Robin’s vivid and expressive illustrations for her first picture book, Go Away, Worry Monster! earned her a place on the 2021 shortlist for the CBCA New Illustrator Award. Her second book, Tilly’s First Day Twist, was published in April 2022 by Little Book Press. Robin is currently illustrating a middle grade series with Affirm Press and has a middle grade graphic novel series in development. She also conducts kids' art workshops and is the Education Coordinator for Patch Theatre.
